But did they ink a deal with McDonald’s?

Well, the Raptors are securing all of the important guys who don’t contribute directly on the floor, signing up D-Mart and Wayne Embry. Embry will be around through the 2009-10 season, which is good for the team, because honestly, you can’t have too much respect from others in the league.

As much as we like to poke fun at him, D-Mart has proven to be that additional coach the Raptors need as he seems to have a knack for getting along with everybody, letting cool heads prevail and pointing out some of the tricks and trades of playing in the NBA. Funny how in different reports they keep referring to him as a 170-pounder…I bet this is the process when he is asked about his weight:

D-Mart: 170-pounder? Pounder…mmm…quarter pounder…

Can’t wait for this to get started again…
